Joyful Measures

A behavior tracker that shows you the patterns

Log behaviors in a tap and let the app do the counting. After about a week of history, Joyful Measures reads your own data and points out what is improving and what needs attention.

  • One-tap logging for positive and negative behaviors
  • Automatic daily and weekly point totals
  • Mood tracking alongside behavior
  • Charts per child and for the whole family

What a week of tracking actually tells you

A chart on the wall tells your child how today went. A tracker tells you how the month went — and that is a different job. Joyful Measures keeps every logged behavior with its date, its point value and the child it belongs to, so the pattern shows up even when your memory of last Tuesday does not.

Most parents see something useful after about seven days: the day of the week that goes wrong, the sibling pair that clashes, the behavior that quietly improved while you were busy worrying about another one.

What gets logged

  • Every behavior, with the time and who awarded it
  • Daily and weekly point totals per child
  • A daily mood check-in on a one-to-five scale
  • Chores completed and chores missed
  • Rewards redeemed, and what they cost

Reading your own data

The Stats screen stacks behaviors over time so you can see the mix change, not just the total. Mood sits on the same timeline, which is usually where the real explanation is — a rough week at school shows up in mood days before it shows up in behavior.

Once there is a week of history, the parent-only insights screen reads that history back to you in plain language: what is improving, what is slipping, and one thing to try next. It only ever uses what your family entered.

Tracking for a reason, not for a record

If you are tracking to bring something to a teacher, a paediatrician or a counsellor, export-ready charts per child cover the questions they usually ask: how often, how long, and whether anything changed after you made a change at home.
